It’s 9/11 Where I Am
Well, where I am, it’s already 9/11 and has been for more than two hours. Anyway, this 9/11 I’m doing many American things. I stocked up at the store on chips and beer for when I watch the crap out of some football tomorrow. I’ll probably order a pizza too, and wouldn’t ya know, they have Dominos Pizza here in Holland. But anyway, since the action doesn’t get going til 7pm, I’m going to pass the time during the day with what I would hope is considered an American trait: learning. Gonna read this Slate series on 9/11 (see below) and will probably get cracking on my next book on my reading list: The Looming Tower (also about 9/11).
